I just realised that she'll be skulking around the campus in order to 'Recruit'. In which she Takes her Humans, but it's almost more like a status thing, where she uses them for power and she in turn gifts them.

If she's done the aid thing often enough for the Tea her, she's probably gone for Friendly Drinks with him (because it's polite to invite, and fosters goodwill) and heard him lament about kids these days not reading the fine print when seeking trades and gifts
