happy SQUEE! A Company of Wolves is on Prime Video for free!!!! Believe it or not, I saw the movie in the theater when I first moved to California. It is a rather Joseph Campbell-esque romp through the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

There was something so incredibly wonderful about the imagery - it reminded me of the work of Bruno Bettelheim and his book, "The Uses of Enchantment: The Meaning and Importance of Fairy Tales". Love his work or hate it, the whole girl coming of age thing / Red Riding Hood theme was beautifully done!
