Yeah my parents aren’t big on emotions

I’ve been in a really bad place since I lost my brother and I was JUST starting to make progress when a my friend’s mom died and ptsd punched me in the dick and I haven’t been able to recover yet

I’m worried it’ll take me another five years to get back to being kind of okay

My parents have this weird idea of “you’re an adult we shouldn’t have to raise you anymore” which apparently means like. Emotional support is further limited and you can deal with your depression and other issues on your own

Which I feel like is weirdly common among our generation? Which is dumb and, you know. Potentially debilitating
