My reply was "I had to use the restroom for its intended purpose and the person in question ducked into the disabled stall after seeing me coming in that direction. I made an angry noise, then had to go to a completely different floor just to use the lavatory, as the regular stalls are too low for me."

I'm also older than a lot of these people.

I think they resent me being here, seeing me as a kind of reminder that they too will know the touch of age.
