It smells quite earthy I thought it was some kind of radish. It’s very pretty. LOL

google says it's a Chioggia beet or candy cane/candy stripe beet and comes from Italy

I left it on the plate. I’m not a fan of anything that I thought it might be and it smelled too earthy for me. Yak didn’t want it either. LOL

Beets I’m definitely not a fan of.

I like the stripes on the beets. makes for a colorful plate. Last time I had some that were light and dark yellow.
