So been hammering out Stuff To Do In The Fade, and trying to make sure its a good balance between a ) stuff to do with Lakshmi, but b ) still fun for you and you can interact with free of me etc etc

One thing you might need to finesse a little bit is that if theyโre physically going through a rift theyโll be in the raw Fade, where for the most part they can actually see the floating rocks and green stuff for what it is, versus being trapped in dreams.

In 2 itโs another dream sequence I think, you never go in physically, but it looks like a fuzzy desaturated version of a physical place.

Like uhhh I think in Awakening in Blackmarsh the Warden & Co might be physically in the Fade? And it looks like the physical place where they are, still, but thereโs some altered perception stuff iirc.

And even in the raw Fade in DAI people see fearlings as different fears instead of all seeing the same demon. So things can still look physically not exactly as they are.

it might be interesting to extend that concept of differing perceptions into the locations. like a battlefield could look like a desert to one person and a horrible field to someone else, walking into a room of a fancy palace could seem totally alien except weird it has the same exact wallpaper as your aunt's drawing room, etc
