I am very hopeful. Cats can sometimes hide out for a couple weeks, even, and then show up again. Stay hopeful! You'll recover him, I'm sure!

tomorrow I'll go talk with the two pet food stores in the area (it has a lot of small shops kind of thing) since if he's sticking around outside, he'll probably end up around them unless somebody starts feeding him

the vet said he knows of cats falling from even greater heights who were fine, though I wouldn't discount enough pain to be distressed, just not... like. Damage enough for him to be meowing constantly.
