My mum has shingles. She's going to be okay, but she's sore and tired and nauseous right now.

I'm tired because I'm not used to driving even half this much.

gah. where does she have it?

On the face.

Upper right, so her temple, eye... all the really good spots.

She's got an anti-viral, strong pain medication and an electric rug over her while she sleeps on the couch.

geez. I feel for her. I had it same place but on the left. if it helps, it eases up and becomes mostly cosmetic after a couple days.

That's the hope. But it can last for up to a month. My aunt has had it twice on her chest (bi lateral, because my aunt never goes part way for getting sick) and each time was a month.

But, knowing my mother, she'll manage to get rid of it in under a week.

oooh, she just woke up and came shuffling through.... she can hardly open her eye ^^;

yeah it's not a happy thing. heavy pain killers, be waited on hand and foot. that's pretty much how you go.

Yeah. Luckily, mum sleeps a lot when she's sick, so she's on the couch and has slept probably 16 of the last 24 hours

And I've been driving her to appointments
