BANNED CLOWN
Character questions! Last time no one asked anything because I posted it at ass o'clock so I'm allowed to do this again, right,

19 & 26 for kaworu
BANNED CLOWN
19 Well, honestly, if you asked manga Kaworu at his manga canon point, he would have no idea? He would mostly Angel-splain them both to you as manifestations of the human need for belonging.
BANNED CLOWN
Later canonpoints, like NGE Kaworu, would further expand into the loneliness of mankind, and how 'love' in all forms can serve to help people forget their pain temporarily, but of course because humans are all separate from each other, it causes pain as well.
BANNED CLOWN
If you tried to get him back on track it would fail, because Kaworu sees them all as different actions with the same motive. :V
BANNED CLOWN
26 Not much, yet. He has no sense of fear, like at all. A lack of self-preservation is a big part of that, but so is his relative invulnerability! Emotionally you can't really hurt him, even in later canonpoints the only person who can hurt him is Shinji. It's not until Rebuild that Gendo really gets to him and then it takes him a While to catch on.
BANNED CLOWN
He's............ just too much of an Angel, and doesn't suffer emotionally like humans do. :V
BANNED CLOWN
Part of it is also that dread is generally based on.... expectations and experiences, and he doesn't have experience
BANNED CLOWN
He's too new :c

4, 27, 37 for kaworu
BANNED CLOWN
Kaworu first since I was already answering some for him!
BANNED CLOWN
4 Depends on what you mean by trust? He trusts everyone immediately in most ways, as might be expected from someone with nothing to.... guard.... emotionally. BUT he also very specifically doesn't explain certain things, and usually pretends to be human still, in that extremely not-effective-at-all way
BANNED CLOWN
He's really blatant about not regarding himself as human, but uh. You know. I didn't say he was GOOD at it.
BANNED CLOWN
Which brings me to
BANNED CLOWN
27
BANNED CLOWN
Nope!
BANNED CLOWN
He will.... occasionally lie, in ways that amount to "I'm human!" when he's blatantly not, but lying to avoid pain is way too human for him. Emphasis o
BANNED CLOWN
On the inhuman is I guess the name of the game here
BANNED CLOWN
37 RIGHT NOW, there is no memory of real note to him, but later? The first time Shinji kills him. It's.... um, very important to him. The whole, thank you, my existence had meaning because of you thing in NGE is also true for the manga
BANNED CLOWN
OKAY BACK time for Godot
BANNED CLOWN
6 IMMOVABLE. Godot might agree that some laws are bad, or flawed, but he wouldn't agree that they should be broken. This is notable because he has a very strong sense of justice, and breaks the law himself.
BANNED CLOWN
But if anyone else tried he'd IMMEDIATELY oppose it
BANNED CLOWN
17 Not only is Godot not easily embarrassed, I'm not sure he has it in him to BE embarrassed. He... he's pretty shameless, honestly, it's because he can make ass in public without so much as blinking that he gets away with it.
BANNED CLOWN
28 Godot has not only NOT lived up to his own ideal, he fell through the floor and landed himself in hell ; )
BANNED CLOWN
*ideals

Epsilon, 30 and 38
BANNED CLOWN
30 ....oh. Well. In canon, Wassily would probably be the first answer (except for WHY they met, so that's a bit iffy), but after that.... it's Hogan. Hogan gave him some... much needed support, in more ways than one, and also he had... confidence that Hogan would be there for those who needed him, which is the kids? I think it would have been harder for
BANNED CLOWN
Epsilon to make the choices he made without Hogan there.
BANNED CLOWN
In RP, it's Ginko. Hands down. He hasn't had a relatively unreserved relationship with someone in a long time, it was very good for him.
BANNED CLOWN
38 Superficially? Very easy. All people have flaws, all robots too, and it's just something you factor in for any interactions. On a deeper level, though, it's hard. Epsilon judges himself a bit harder than he does others because he's the only person he can really alter the course of, but when your mistakes or choices hurt other people
BANNED CLOWN
He will never forget that. Partially because he's a robot and partially because he is just that... serious about that particular flaw.
