In other news we went to Benihana tonight for dinner. It was the first time dad’s gf ever went. It was fun. I told the rest of the people at the table that tonight we’re all one family. LOL
The young girl sitting across from us looked like she’d rather be anywhere but there with her parents. LOL

She hardly smiled all night. I finally made her smile by just saying....hey smile!

Obsolete yup....this trip is mainly a horror show. She’s ok and I’m ok with her but I think my dad is declining fast now. He’s talking crazy shit I never heard before plus behaviors that made him a total fucktard when I was growing up are surfacing and I’m trying to deal with that from an adult perspective and not revert into the trauma of the past.

Bottom line....I love visiting New York but I honestly just want to go home and say not my circus not my monkeys.
