Shiro has played not-D&D in canon and it's... it's real bad you guys. He's awful.

His self-insert is so blatant that he straight-up uses his own fucking name as his character's name, and he won't play any class but Paladin even though he's already a Paladin in real life, and he has this ridiculous overwrought backstory that I will never believe that he didn't just outright

lift from various RPG's he's played in the past because this man has no creativity whatsoever, and his character dies so he just starts playing his identical twin brother Jiro and I hate him.

I'd been saying for like a year ahead of when we even knew there'd be a D&D episode that Shiro would just play himself and he'd be awful but even then canon completely blew me away with just how awful he was.

He was very into how it was about problem-solving and teamwork, though, very cute. Terrible, but cute....

and he was the guy who said "I'd think my character would have remembered to bring [x]."

Meanwhile, Ulaz is probably a terrible powergamer, minmaxing all his stats, he's in it to win it, what do you mean you don't "win" D&D???

The wizard who knows and utilizes all the most bullshit spells, probably.

Gotta be able to solve every problem by himself, you know....

He's not a shonen protag because then he'd be more into teamwork instead of all but aspiring to make the rest of the party superfluous....

Aisthota is suuuuupeerrrr into the storytelling aspects and probably has to be reminded on occasion that she has to actually, like. Roll for shit sometimes.

She's competent enough at the numbers side, though, but also probably she needs a GM who'll reel in her desire to multiclass with wild abandon.

It's tonally distinct, though, less "I'll take it from here" and more "move, bitch, get out of the way"

Really what Aisthota should do is be the GM. She is an actual bard, after all.
