NPower tells me every month that the amount I pay might not cover my gas and electricity consumption and maybe I will have to pay the difference at the reevaluation date and why not raise my direct debit amount? And then on the website:

I made the mistake of submitting my readings before being asked for them. They just raised my direct debit from £56 to £74, and now they insist on raising it to £91! Wtf! Plus they want a payment!

£91??? That’s ridiculous. I can’t imagine how would you consume that much.

I can't either! I only have the boiler on gas, and I'm not a major hot water user. And it's light outside all day, so I've not lights on. So aggravating.

Check what they charge and switch provider. I can see them overcharging a little and then refunding but that’s just way over the top.
