oh also something that might be interesting? If Peter can sense magic... Strand's got some shit up what with being the whole key to bringing about the end of the world and seeing demons shit Haru

so the way peter's sensing magic thing works, is that he can either sense a spell that was left on something, or he can sense a caster when they're actively casting

which is to say, I can have it work however you do or don't want for plot purposes
