I guess it's that time of year for fake IRS scam calls again

Robo call supposedly from IRS saying "serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment" and that I have to call them in 24 hours or I'll be arrested 9_9

Oh joy....

I wonder how there is no way to sue those. I mean they give you a phone number, I guess?

From what I've been told for other phone scams, I think that 1) it's incredibly difficult to track them down, and 2) I don't think charges can be pressed until you've actually experienced damages of some kind

Like until you lose money they technically haven't really done anything besides call you
