er, I ask because that is a drug whose primary purpose is blood pressure and as an androgen blocker thus reducing excess hair growth. It can also help with acne in women if the acne is hormone-related, which might be where they're coming from.
I can't speak to what it's approved for in Australia, but for acne and hormonal regulation is exactly what I was proscribed it for in america, so I don't think it's as off label as that? Like the acne (in my case and in the cases of several other women I know) is a symptom of the underlying issue of the elevated androgen levels.
