er, I ask because that is a drug whose primary purpose is blood pressure and as an androgen blocker thus reducing excess hair growth. It can also help with acne in women if the acne is hormone-related, which might be where they're coming from.

apple thief 🍎 : it is, yeah. and I mean I suppose THEORECTICALLY it can be but that is really really off label use

she doesn't even know if it's hormonal acne, like she refused test and everything I'm like.... fine whatever

I can't speak to what it's approved for in Australia, but for acne and hormonal regulation is exactly what I was proscribed it for in america, so I don't think it's as off label as that? Like the acne (in my case and in the cases of several other women I know) is a symptom of the underlying issue of the elevated androgen levels.
