[OCs] I've been gradually writing up Sigyl's background and I'm like "holy shit his grandma's life was pretty interesting and way more interesting than his is?"

She did a bunch of amazing shit and he's like her idiot grandson that can make fireballs real good

It's always interesting when developing a character goes in an unexpected direction... I'm curious about this grandmother!

She was one of four heroes who vanquished a monster decades ago and ended up serving the king as the Court Witch. She ended up being a pretty influential adviser, but a lot of the court officials didn't like that some non-noble person from the sticks had so much clout with the king and let her know it when the king wasn't around.

Eventually she got tired of it, said "fuck this" and moved back to the country. This leads to a lot of other things that I'll probs share once I get more of this history solidifed. But I was writing this up and was like "oh and uh, i guess sigyl can do a good magic sometimes"

She does sound cool!
