I'm pretty sure the bottom one is amber, given it's little dark pieces embedded.

Urgh right. I love how the backs on both are open, so the gems can catch the light. I especially love the lower ones that have the little flecks.

The top ones appear yellow in most light, but in DIRECT sunlight, they flash grern

I think you're right that the lower ones are amber with some inclusions.

The person who gave me these was like "I'm not sure you'll like them..." OF COURSE I DO. 1) they're earrings, and 2) I just adore the inclusions in the amber and the open backs that let light in.

It's the only thing that made sense, amber. They're nice dark pieces of amber too. Thought they were red when I opened the box at first.

I'll have to have you take a look when I get back. They're so damn hard to photograph. Not just cuz they're smaller, but because they have all these facets in them that distort the color

I don't think they're citrine. Citrine is far more glassy than that and doesn't usually have flash to them.

At the moment I'm leaning toward Titanite for the top two, just from color and these pictures, but I definitely want to see them in person.
