i'm listening to the audiobook for Howl's Moving Castle--i'd always meant to read the book, and I'm enjoying it very much

though i really do want to smack sophie upside the head for how obtuse she's being about Howl and ~what he gets up to~ in Wales

she's so salty about his going after ladies and it's honestly maddening

otherwise it's really interesting; the movie did its best to keep a lot in, but still ended up missing a lot

Yeah! I recently reread it and then rewatched and it was a trip

Eeeeee. <3 /loves the book so much

And yeah, ultimately the movie and the book are very different.

I've got audio books for the next two in the series, I'm super interested to see how those go, since I know absolutely nothing

i like a house of many ways a lot! I admit i am kind of struggling with the next one but i will get through it eventually

Yeah, I think most people who just know the movie can tell it's not a complete story

I decided to listen to Charmed Life of Chrestomanci next bc I remembered liking the series... but boy howdy everyone in this book is awful
