Mmm yes DC is really on the right track now

Gotta love that no matter how much Supes think Batsy snubbed him he still has a good deal of respect for him. And Bats hates what he has become so much that he does need to isolate himself from the actual good people

Which is a 10x better interperation of the character then the whole Bruce Wayne is the mask Batman wears thing

I do appreciate 'Bruce is the mask' when they did the lasso of truth meeting. But mostly because Bruce said 'I'm Batman' and Clark went 'REALLY!? That's how you see yourself?' Cause that was funny.

But hey look, Clark and Bruce are interesting, opposite, and neither stealing the other's thunder!

SEe that's the only acceptable way of doing it

Actually let me expond on why I hate Bruce is the mask and its very simple

People go way overboard into it

Bruce Wayne does as much to repair gotham city as the Batman does as its Dark Knight/Dective

I'm firmly in the 'both are a mask' camp. He plays to the crowd, Batman is a step beyond him in one direction, Bruce is a step beyond in the other.

Which is pretty much what TAS was... although Batman Beyond also did the 'I call myself Batman' joke as a plot point.

Like someone that was using Bruce wayne as a mask wouldn't Make the Martha wayne hospital a sliding scale one

Or straight up hire some thugs into his company and then get one of them who's the phenemonal mechanic to work on the entire batfleet for him because he's that good of a person

But yes we need to go more into TAS/Arkham (Dective based) directions and not just masked crime fighter that punches stuff
