I don't think it triggers Jack. Although in the comics Rose had to protect Jack from 9 being all "NO GUNS NO GUNS EVER D:<" and the only "gun" Rose had was a shield but it made 9 super hurt and she was D: D; D: D: D: I hate myself so much right now
