I’ll send my thoughts and prayers.....again. Because apparently that’s all we have available to help.

Two schools in my state were closed today because of threats.

So I've got a conspiracy theory, although it's based on facts. a couple years ago we had a called bomb threat on one of our middle schools here. I got involved because the subpoena for the sip records at comcast was answered with "no records available" so I called the tech to rip a new asshole over that. Anyway, turns out it was accurate and we couldn't

track the call. So about 6 months ago, the major calls me into his office and he's like "you'll be interested in this" Turns out the FBI arrested some member of ISIS or Al-queada, whatever, some terrorist cell in NJ and on his computer was phone number and information about our middle school. HE PLACED THE CALL! so I wonder if half of those threats aren't

russians or someshit trying to stir crazy

that doesn't address the suicide here (I assume if you shoot yourself it's a suicide) nor the other actual violence in schools, this is just the phone threats or social media threats

Kid is still alive at last report, they aren't sure if it was intentional (could have been setting up for shooting the school up and fucked up or it could have been a suicide attempt?)

hard to tell, it's easy to shoot yourself if you don't know how to handle a gun.

It's not even news on the big news channels, so i doubt we will hear anything about intentions

the way things are going by the end of the year it will be news if there is a day with no shootings in any school?

these are becoming far too “normal” occurrences sadly enough. This slowly leads to the mindset that it’s ok. It is never ok to just randomly shoot off a firearm to kill people and it’s even less ok to do it in a school. It’s still fucked up no matter how you look at it.
