My Earth pulls were Ayer, Vaseraga, Sara, Cagliostro and Siegfried.

So it was either going full Enmity like a real madman, or building a steadier team but suffer through leveling two characters with blue stars.

And yes, it pays off in the long term because once Siegfried hits 100, he becomes the great king of bruiserville.
