Squeak =^..^=
Windoze 10 gurus (again).
Every time I log on to computer, I get a huge pop up "Start Menu" with all the programs and apps (used or unused) splashed across some 40% of my monitor screen. I not want it (unless I ask fur it).
Can I turn off the "auto" start menu and only see it when I manual foxual click "Show me the start menu"?

Are they the big tiles for apps? I got rid of that shit, but I don't remember how. Now I have a Start menu that pops open with reasonably sized tiles I customized. I'll poke around and see what I did. I installed Classic Shell before but I don't think that is what this is.

Not sure if it is that but try this Start menu -> Settings Cog -> Personalisation -> Start -> check off on Show more tiles on start

You can remove them all one by one... and then when done, you can grab the right side of that window and move it left to the start menu.

Then you only have the start menu as you had in previous versions of windows. :-)

It's still there, but only 0 pixels wide. :-D
