[family updates]
So one nephew almost ended up with a broken up and the other is looking at joining the Navy.

So yesterday older nephew (Ezra) and younger nephew (Micah) were playing basketball. Ezra went in for a layup and when he came down his elbow came down on Micah's arm just below Micah's elbow.

After hours at the ER, x-rays were finally taken and NO break was confirmed. Just a really bad bruise. Pain turning his arm over or even trying to make a fist. I've not heard how he's doing today, but I know he'll be fine.

Tonight, as I was poking around the kitchen, I overheard Ezra telling my parents about the questions he had to answer when applying for the Navy.

Guy: You ever smoke?
Ezra: No.
Guy: Do drugs?
Ezra: No.
Guy: [after some more questions.] Now, bare with me, I'm required to ask all of the questions on here, so yeah...
Ezra: Okay. [can't imagine what he's going to be asked now.]
Guy: Are you pregnant?
Ezra: [Whelp, he certainly hadn't expected that.]

On that note, though, I can't believe Ezra is going to be 18 here in a few months. July. Mid-July he'll be 18. I just...omg.
