[library lyfe] One of my favorite things is when patrons copy CDs or DVDs and return the copy they made in the case

We know y'all pirate our stuff, just... plz... try to make it less obvious

There was an instance of that today, and Boss looked at the copy then without missing a beat, pretended to hand it to me and said "Shuri, this one needs to be cleaned."

But yeah, I think of this every time people check out more music and movies/TV shows than they could possibly consume in a lifetime, or check out, say, all 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1 then return it 3 days later... again, try to make it less obvious that you're pirating

because this definitely seems like the kind of thing I would do by accident

Not that I know of, but I'm sure Circulations had visits/emails about it before

There's a copied Big Bang Theory disc hanging on the wall in Processing so I'm guessing some folks either don't notice or are too ashamed to come back and claim their copies
