Sun and Moon don't feel like nearly as much of a personal journey from a gameplay perspective, and the ride pager, while convenient, isn't really something earned by your efforts. It's random-ass pokemon doing the heavy lifting
I'm still annoyed with HM moves being non-deletable, but maybe there's a way to compromise for the future. Make them "field moves" like teleport and dig, things that can be re-taught later as needed. Really my biggest beef with HM moves is that some are necessary for progression and aren't the greatest moves to keep, but I'd shut up about it if you could
at the same time I get that it's a safeguard as well, to keep you from stranding yourself in any one location, but... there's always a way around that kind of shit?
