Gym Leaders have been...decided?

Since we only have four sign-ups, with all of them for different districts, we didn't have a choice.

Slightly disappointing but oh well. That's just them the breaks.

I think that's kind of cool, actually. If we had five people interested, one person was going to be disappointed.

I guess so? Personally I just find RNGs more exciting since you can get unexpected results that can make things more interesting.

It works out in this case since every district got a gym.

And well, there's always more opportunities even if someone didn't luck out this time.

IDK, maybe it's just the Sagittarius in me. Variety is the spice of life after all.

Lol. I used to get excited about RNGs too, honestly. But then one year my friend missed out on an RNG for something she really wanted and when everything was said and done it turned out more than 100 people got something and she was one of the only two who got nothing, and she spent two years ticked and hurt about it.

So... now I'm happier when everyone at least gets SOMETHING

If it's an RNG with like... 40 people and 2 or 3 prizes, I still get excited. But when it's only one or two people who will be left out... I feel badly.

I agree, in that no one gets let down or disappointed this way. ^.^; RNG stuff can make some interesting/amusing things happen, too. But I prefer those more for like.... team match-ups, or the like... when it's a random draw of who you'll get, or stuff like that?

Honestly if we had five and I got in, I probably would have offered to step down.

And yeah. The number of applicants does make a difference, too. The loss is felt a bit more sharply, if - as said - there are 4 open slots, and only 5 or 6 applied.

when it's like... 4 slots and 15 apply... you need a way to choose, then, and for THAT RNG works fine

Yep. No one is feeling hurt or slighted and all the roles filled. And I'm sure if you want we can come up with fun RNG stuff for a future storm!

XD I get it tho like having once been a mod myself when you want to really see waht's going to happen with a particular idea and the turnout is not...quite what you expected
