[Thread] Went to a friend's wedding yesterday. During the reception, a Japanese married couple, the wife to be exact, was asked by the MC, "when was the last time you were kissed by your husband?". And she answered, "I can't remember". I know the husband only by his name, and not on a personal level. Well, he's my company's VP.

But I do know, he's the typical kind of Japanese workaholic man. But dang, idk if it's because of that busyness or work dedication, or because his family lives in Japan (though I'm not sure about this one), but MY HEART REALLY BROKE WHEN I HEARD HER ANSWER.

I mean, seriously, she cannot remember the last time she was kissed? I mean, they met before they attended the wedding right? Surely, even if it's just a peck on the cheek, it won't hurt to show that little kind of affection right?

It was just really sad for me. I wonder, could their "love" for each other is just not on its heights, or she was just also the typical japanese woman who's shy and doesn't want to admit anything personal. I'm really hoping it's the latter. </3
