Could you make out any shapes, or were they just fuzzy apparitions?

We stayed in an area close to a WW2 army base when I was little. My Mum told me about hearing ghostly male footsteps tramping down a corridor at night.

It was like actual people walking by. I kept thinking it was my mom

Woah I wish I could visit. The only spooky thing that's happened to me is having to ask a ghost to let me out of a bathroom.

Do the house owners know anything about the history of the building, area, etc.?
