yeah the switch is definitely portable and doesn't require a tv to be played

The Switch also charges through a USB-C port, which isn't as common as microUSB but also isn't Nintendo proprietary

Another issue besides price is that Switches are still hard to find. Hopefully the supply issue will be moot by the time they actually come out with a Pokemon RPG on the Switch, but yeah
