I just want to give honorable mention to Ryuutama for being the only Tabletop RPG system for a campaign I was in where half the party only reluctantly bought weapons after like 10 sessions

Ryuutama is very good

And we didn't have money to buy weapons at first, we were too busy buying cold weather gear and food

Which...was honestly more important for us

I mean

gear and food will keep you alive much more reliably in that game than weapons

It wasn't until like the third time we were almost killed by monsters that we were like "FIIIIINE"

and bought some swords and stuff
