[Welding] So the instructor wasn't the least bit surprised to hear that one of his students stabbed herself with a hot rod

also he told me that if it gets infected I should let him know so he can file an incident report

in other news we did arc welding today

did you know that when you channel hundreds of volts into metal it gets really, really hot

and that you should definitely not put your hand on it, gloved or otherwise

also I think I almost became a part of the current a few times

hard to know for sure tho
