是在北京發表的嘛，第一時間內一堆簡體中文消息在傳。看起來中國有許多有志青年在設計自己的AI加速器上頭下功夫，這一發表，哇靠聲不絕。畢竟是免費公開嘛，就算本來跑輸人的後進，一下子也都跟先開跑的許多人站到了同一條線上，畢竟絕大部分先開跑的其他人也很難跑贏敝社。
看中文報導看不太到敝社開放的理由，還是來篇WIRED的報導吧。
幾天內，就看得到twitter上有些人宣布在不同FPGA平台上成功編譯跟模擬了這東西。
Verilog這語言是IC設計語言。即使Verilog本身是可以免費學習的，開放了原始碼後，當然也還不是每個有興趣的人都有那個設備把它拿來開發跟跑模擬，後頭的實際做成硬體晶片需要的資本也更大。
不過時代一直在變，Amazon今年才推出雲端的FPGA開發跟模擬環境，這開發所需要的資源跟資本門檻就降得更低。
