the most amusing thing i've seen today is my grandpa's face when i caught him nearly forgetting to wash the dish soap off his dentures before he put them in

my aunt had called and wanted to talk to him about the estimate her friend had given her for removing a mulberry tree and some other stuff in the backyard, so i'd kind of ambushed him a little

me: you know... i usually use that brush just for cleaning out the sink

him: well, that just means it has plenty of soap on it i guess adds more

me: also you got a phonecall

me: uh, you might wanna wash the soap off before you relive some of your childhood

him: i think it's been 50 years since i've had my mouth washed out with soap, i'd rather not go back that far

ah, i think the only time i've heard him cuss while they've been up here
