And we're done with Book #29, The Sickness! How'd everyone like this one?

It was a pretty thrilling ride, wasn't it?

Cassie's on her own on one of the most dangerous missions they've ever undertaken, and she manages to pull off everything!

AND SHE PERFORMS BRAIN SURGERY!

This book is a shining example of what could be accomplished if Yeerks would be willing to work together with other species for the benefit of everyone, and even though Ax loathes having had a Yeerk in his brain (reasonably!), he definitely wouldn't have survived without the drastic measure

We also get to see what one of the kids can accomplish on their own, with the help of a couple allies and some quick thinking, and it's pretty brilliant to see

And of course, the kids all griping about what happened while they were sick was hilarious! And their solution to Aftran's problem is inspired and very kind.
