They do have some fairly compatible traits in common. Makes them fun and interesting together as while they are similar their angles are different enough to keep it fresh. I'm really their CR.

LOL Yes. Danny's a bit of an ass at times. He's a curmudgeon, but he's a loveable one. Danny's got a big heart and is very protective about those he cares for, but he likes to rant and complain, and has no issue speaking his mind.

Steve is very different type of an ass. He too has a big heart and is very protective of those he cares for but he has a different way to go about it. Instead of rant he seems to cause controlled chaos instead.

They balance each other.
