Would my character kill a loved one for the greater good?

Clark Luthor would, HAS in fact, and there's a part of him that thinks that if he was to that point, the person he'd kill either wasn't the person he loved at that point OR they'd agree with it, and at that point, he'd feel no guilt. Loss, but no guilt

Chloe would but she doesn't actually believe that it ever could be. Because to be together is to be stronger, to have more people to fight the darkness, even if they're imperfect, even if they have weaknesses is better. She has it in her to make hard decisions but she'd never agree WITH that decision.
