Doing a leave of absence from work. Or I'm going to try to.

They want a specialist to sign off on it but my RA doc is on vacation - and has been since all of this started

So I'm trying to see what more my primary can do but I am not at all pleased

Primary is doing the best

RA is I dunno what's going on. There are other docs in that office but they are not letting me see them or interact with them

It's really frustrating. But my manager knows all of this and she's not going to fire me over it all

And my teaching job is also aware and thank fuck they are both reasonable like Your health comes first

Anyways. Frustration HEYOOOOooooo

im so sorry, that's the worst. obviously not the same experience but with the diabetes and the gastro issues making it so hard to control (and the retinopathy/eye surgeries/blindness) ive had to basically not work. which is fine, i dont mind it, but bosses tend to

I think they're both aware that I would be there if I could and it's out of my control. Which is a huge relief

it really is. ive heard so many horror stories and im just like. guys. having healthy workers is a good thing

Side note: My dad called to see how I was and immediately starts complaining about how he hurt his back while cleaning his boat. He decided he had to lift up and clean the anchor.

And is now discussing the 30 fish he caught. Including 2 at once
