Bad news. We heard something attacking the Siamese tonight. [tw: animals getting hurt.]

My dad didn't have time to get the trap today and he hadn't shown up at the usual time he comes in the yard, so we thought he wasn't coming tonight.

Turns out he came after it got late and it was too dark to see him out there. I was eating dinner and we heard him screaming and yowling as something got him. I think I maybe saw a blurred shape leave the yard, but I can't be sure.

We're not sure if he got away, but we're hoping he had some luck on his side. Dad and I are going to get the trap right now. I'm so upset right now, I feel closer to tears.

I know logically there's nothing I could have done, but I feel like this could have been prevented if only we got the trap earlier today.

Alright, my dad said for sure he saw him run out of the yard, so so least he's not dead.

luckily Siamese are p. loud in general so it might not have been as bad as it sounded

my aunt had one and if her bowl went empty in the middle she'd literally scream

first few times we thought something had gotten in the house and was murdering her

yeah they are notoriously noisy, even a cat fight in general is loud as all hell

and being big and loud is a defensive tactic anyways- might've startled whatever was coming at him enough that he could've bolted without any damage other than getting the piss scared outta him

yeah, tsuna screams like she's being murdered if you take too long to open the door for her and she's only a fraction siamese. it's entirely possible he just got startled by something and panicked.

We just got the trap. The King of Siam is getting caught tomorrow!

Yeah, I have a cat who's half Siamese, and I've heard her yowling from the waiting room when I had to pick her up from the vet before

My dad insists if he's a stray, we're giving him to a cat shelter. He says this about every animal we get. He never ends up following through.

But we're going to see if he's microchipped, and if so, find his owners so we can educate them on why he should stay inside.

Yeahhh. Hopefully if he's owned, the owners don't deliberately let him out. But if so, they need to know that he will live a much shorter life if they don't look after their cat
