I just wish I knew why sometimes adding a period dramatically changes what google decides a phrase means

I also wish I knew why some words apparently mean VERY DIFFERENT THINGS when paired with two other words

for example

if you plug in vos es amet into ye olde translator, you get you are important

if you plug in vos es amet. with the period, you get you're boring.

for the record, amet apparently translates to carrots

if you wanted i could give you a quick lecture about latin sentence structure

the long and short of it is that romans relied heavily on context and the ending of the word to figure out what was what, and had a bad habit of throwing their words around in whatever order suited their mood
