Caspervend users that got dead vendors like me in big events like c88 and uber: CasperVend 2/Event Vendor Script - CasperTech Wiki apparently there is a new "event" script

(i had no idea, i just realized while reading the setup guide for thereafter)

I thought I'd share because i pretty much didn't want to change my vendors to another system and lose all the transactions, so yay there is a fix for dead vendors!

Yesss, i's very useful. He implemented after the Great Caspervend Blackout at C88 last year

Yeppers. I've been using it for the past 6 months and it works great. Have them out at Blush & Redeux & Prismagica right now and all of them have had no issues.

Zee : LOL there was such a thing?? I stopped using them for certain events, but i had no idea about this! I live under the rock obviously

Anke : I usually don't have issues except for C88 and Uber, the ones that they name in their page. So I just kept using the old one, but I'll start doing this from now on

Yeah, it was that time when C88 and Uber had blackouts so he implemented it. The only thing about it is that it won't update automatically like our usual vendor. If we change anything from the website, we have to reset the inworld one so it communicates. But otherwise, works great!

Zee : As long as it doesn't die for good, I usually have them set up fully before the event opens. I'm so happy that they implemented this

I think I read Santa Bunny had some dead vendors at c88 but i don't know if they were casper

I haven't had issues honestly when I accidentally forget to swap, but it's a nice security blanket. I've not been in Uber or c88 since the event swap over, but maybe soon.

Kaorinette : yess i had problems but was my mistake, turned out i had vendors in demo area and i forgot to reset hahaha

i love the event script but the only PITA is that you have to delete the vendor via the menu inworld instead of on the website. It's really annoying when the event ends and you're on holiday and can't get onto SL.
