she's fond of him though, that's certain; she does want to do her best as an attendant, even if she does end up leaving the velvet room to pursue her own path...

...goro's father is a no-good man who abandoned his mother when she was pregnant, eventually this (and the shame of having a bastard child) killed her; i think a lot of people take it as she killed herself, but i think the specific line is that she deteriorated..? he was very young though.

eventually goro decided he was going to fuck over his dad and strove to get to a position where he could do that, but he's also... still very much a boy who wants praise from him, who wants that approval.

goro akechi has a lot of complicated feelings on his father let's leave it at that!! wow. his dad, guys.

black's dad is SUPER GREAT AND A VERY HANDSOME FRIENDLY MAN who sacrificed himself along with his wife to keep his children and the world safe.

chiyuki's dad is not really shown around except when she was a kid and she's obviously way closer to her mom; i think i've said they're on nice terms at least. he either works a lot or him and chiyuki's mom split for some reason, though i'm kind of in favor of the first
