Pretty sure Zachary is developing burning mouth syndrome

he can't taste salt

and now he says his mouth feels like he's eaten food that's too hot.

TIL that's a thing. Huh.

Apparently the initial solution (according to the internet) is making sure he's getting enough zinc. second solution is go to the doctor and do a bunch of tests which may or may not reveal a treatable cause!

PS I ate some verrrrryyyyy over salted grits and eggs this morning.
