[Merch Sale] | [Opinions needed!] Okay so I've made a couple interest plurks about this already and now I need some advice...

Especially from people who have done merch sales, what's the best way to work out shipping vs the price of the item?

I was thinking maybe I'd just do everything as a PWYW (+ shipping).

Where, somebody would inquire about an item. I'd work out the shipping with them and then they could decide whatever else extra they wanted to put towards it.

That way I'd know for sure I at least wouldn't be eating shipping costs. XD

But I don't know if there's a better/easier/more popular way to do stuff like this.

So if anyone has some advice, especially if you were interested in maybe buying merch from me, let me know what you think! ^^

Like I have a few wall scrolls I wanted to try to sell but I know stuff like that is usually more expensive to ship regardless of where it's going.

At least, I think so? I'm actually not 100% sure so I was hoping somebody on my timeline had sold posters/wall scrolls and could let me know what I was getting into. X3

they do it generally by weight

for posters I recommend getting a few cheap poster mailing tubes and weighing

obviously an easier way might be flat rate but sometimes that's more expensive depending on the item
