Yeah, that migration is why they say you might need to get refitted again once you're in the right size bra finally. Because now the tissue can get back to normal.
Honestly I don't bother with it because I don't think it makes any difference. But then I started out in bras too big because I didn't know they come smaller than 32A, so I might not be a typical example.
Yeah. I mean the small boobs have been really nice for my male cosplays but. The damn things need covered up in regular life (unless I just pull on my hoodie where no one can get even an outline of them), generally.
I do remember when we were learning how to draw people in my first theater class, I drew the boobs wrong somehow (I think they were too low) and I was told I needed to look in a mirror to get it right. Thing is? I did. My boobs are too small to get a decent idea of where everything is.
tho i'll admit (idk if this is tmi) i'm not a fan of how... inverted a lot of ftm trans surgeries look to the point where i almost wanna be like "leave a tiny bit of fat there... i am a roundish boy, i can't get away with an inverted chest"
Not only have I been working on a degree in costuming for the past four years, I've grown up with my grandmother and her wedding dresses and formal wear shop.
I cannot tell you how many times she's had to warn people about how wedding dress sizing works. 'You may have to go up at least two sizes' is a thing I hear at least twice a day in that shop.
Also the fashion industry thinks the female clothing (I don't know about the male) should be disposable, so that's why all the fabric is so thin and can't be machine washed anymore.
They tell us to use too much fabric for patterns anyway. Look at the back of a pattern envelope sometime and see just how much fabric gets wasted in their layouts.
