Yeah... Foster is gonna get less vague in the next tag regardless and just sort of boil it down to "if you die in a video game, you don't die in real life"
Steven can be pretty precise sometimes though; he mostly seems to avoid it but like... idk I was just watching recent episodes and he's certainly better about it than Lapis
Fair enough. I mean, Foster would be more inclined to get frustrated and be like FINE THEN WHAT DOES IT MEAN than to tell him he's still wrong at that point but that might be worse lol
See, Foster is, specifically, adverse to people telling him what to think and how (without backing it up.) Telling him they think differently and then answering when he asks is fine?? It goes into that weird power dynamic demand thing he's so picky about, probably.
(He is also not a fan of people telling him they think differently, then REFUSING TO ANSWER if he asks because he should somehow know, because that's a thing he runs into a lot and finds extremely frustrating.)
Sometimes! More often than not, now. But it happens a lot, especially in like... ethical or moral situations, or situations where empathy serves as intuitive reasoning.
Which may not be available to him and so it comes across to him as kind of like NO you don't get to know BECAUSE YOU'RE DEFECTIVE. AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD ABOUT IT.
Which is like... he knows he's defective, and also he doesn't feel bad about it, but he guesses now he feels shitty about not feeling bad because he's defective so he just sort of throws himself into being wrong instead, because if he's supposed to be wrong, then it's fine and natural to do the wrong thing(???)
its just one of those powers that occasionally you forget about despite the fact that it should generally be informing their behaviour most of the time
so it would sort of depend on if this is theoretically they fusing right now or fusing when they were, you know, at a state where that was remotely plausible
Yeah no joking aside, I....... well right now it would definitely be too toxic to be Ginko lmao. Foster's kind of venting his bad feelings at Steven tbh. Not projecting them, just sort of.... he's upset and he doesn't have any outlet for it so now he's arguing about reality with a child I guess
