The trick to surviving Elite is buff and attack on turn one, defend on Turn 2, heal up on turn 3, and go nuts.

Cecil Focus for buff, Curaja from Cecil and your healer, and otherwise, just work it. >_> Bahamut has no special attacks that are physical. They're all magic.

We definitely buffed and attacked turn one. But never defended... Turn two was also attack. Three was heal though definitely.

Defending on Turn 2 cuts your damage from Mega Flare by half.

If you can survive and heal up, Bahamut goes down pretty easily. Not SUPER easily, but he'll go down.

The issue is that Mega Flare deals SO MUCH DAMAGE. If you cut it in half, you can heal far easily.
