My favorite mascara, the one I ALWAYS go back to no matter which other fancypants mascara I try, is the waterproof Maybelline Mega Plush.

Since I wear contacts, I really need something that won't melt into my eyes and I've never had issues with it running down my face or smudging too much until the very end of my day. But it does require a good makeup remover because it won't really budge much with just soap and water.

I second that. I have $20 mascara and $6 maybelline, and I always trust my maybelline to last all day, swimming, crying, that formula is made for our sweaty heat too
