Sturdy came home today! It was worse than it looked (and it looked pretty bad)

He had to have internal stitches as well as external. The vet had to cut a lot of torn tissue away. It looks like the stitching on a football on his side

He has liquid antibiotics, can't go outside (which will drive him nuts), and will have to go back to have his external stitches removed

Luckily he is a very well-mannered cat, and doesn't protest too much when I have to give him medicine.

Now I gotta find a baby shirt to put on him so he doesn't try messing with the stitches
