[SPOILERS] I just came back from watching GOTG volume 2! it was a p good movie for eating popcorn and it Hurt My Heart

things that I did not like:

- I'm not sure there's continuity in how Gamora feels re: Nebula from 1 to 2? idk it just felt really abrupt to me

- I called it on the dad being evil like a mile away.

- Mantis was really nice! but also I felt deeply uncomfortable with some of the things she says for, uh, reasons.

- wow, really fridged Meredith there, huh. god.

things I did like:

- I know one person on my timeline is most likely not going to like this but, um. I liked Baby Groot! granted this was mostly bc I am a Weak Person and I like adorable things.

- I really loved Yondu's arc he really grew on me

- the humor was p great when I wasn't deeply uncomfortable, but there was a kind of pathos there too in some scenes

- Gamora and Nebula talk! about their relationship! they hugged!!!!

- the visuals were a hell of a lot better than live action BATB. granted I closed my eyes through most of that movie bc it was kind of Weird, in terms of visuals.

- there was a lot of crying at the end and I bawled
